Snow where Cary lives

Hi Guys,

This thread is mostly for you Southern folk who keep talking about snow days for days with, like, an inch of snow I took some piccs just of my street and yard today, so here goes:

The sidewalk with snowbank. it comes up to my shoulders at its highest point...

I wish I had snow like that! It seldom just snows here, it often goes something like freezing rain->sleet->snow then it warms and gets all slushy only to freeze nice and icy again that evening.
yesterday we got snow, then freezing rain and sleet overnight, and snow again today. I had 1/4 to 3/8inch of ice on my car this morning. Made it a bit difficult getting into it this morning. looks like it might be another slow day at work...

Some of the schools will cancel or delay just on the prediction of snow! wish my work would do that sometimes Man I miss living North sometimes.

here's the road I live on. This was taken after I got home from work today. Road crews have been busy clearing it Poor road crews, can't handle more than a couple inches of snow at a time down here. We got about 10" in 24hrs. My road hadn't been touched when I left for work this morning, and other than the local traffic, it still has yet to be plowed. It isn't much better in town either.

It looks very prettyful you can tell you dont' get much snow - there's not sand and salt all over the place Our snowbanks look nice right when the snow falls then they go back to being ugly grey dirty monsters lol

had a couple days in the mid 40F - snow is almost all gone.
a couple days in near 60 forcasted this week too.. mmm mud. I'll have to post an after picture now...either that or start leveling my characters so I can play w you guys more...
My capt and hunter's kin has basically gone belly up as well, so they might need a good home. (I needed to consolidate and simplify anyway)

It has only been about sixty degrees today! Gosh I wish I could experience real snow. Our "snow" days are retarded!

I shall send you all the damn snow from now on I wish I could experience warm weather from October to April
